I'm not as crazy as I thought I was!!
So, after 5+ years of symptoms and Dr's telling me I just have anxiety and I need to calm down and relax, I have an answer, well sort of. I am so happy to have a new pcm who listened to me and my symptoms and my family history and didn't blow it off. I have masses in both sides of my thyroid, which can explain alot of my symptoms, woo hoo. Haven't been in to the endocrinologist yet, so not sure what they will do, but Nate says it should be an easy fix. I know Dr's are busy and they see patient's all day long who complain too them, but sometimes those patients are telling the truth and not exaggerating. And, that's there job. I hear so many people compaining about their PCM especially in the army where it is always changing, so my piece of advice? don't give up, listen to your body, and if you feel something isn't normal, then keep questioning things, it might take 5+ yrs.......

Yay! What a nice thing to finally have figured out! Hope all goes well with the endocrinologist...
I am so glad that you finally have someone who is listening to you and helping you find a solution.
By the way, this won't fix your craziness. But we love your crazy side!
Kinda scary it took that long for them to put their finger on it, but hopefully they'll take you seriously from now on. And if they don't, you know to insist on a second opinion.
