PLAYGROUND

We all needed a little break on saturday afternoon, the weather was beautiful so I took the kids for a little walk/bike ride to a park. They had a blast running and playing and I enjoyed a little quiet fresh air. On the way home we stopped at the church and the kids rode their bikes up and down the grassy hill. I have always known and appreciated the beautiful northwest this time of year (actually anytime of year) but after spending a weekend in the middle of TX, I really appreciate it. Everything looks so green and red and orange and yellow. Not much color in Killeen ( Fort Hood, where we are moving) except brown and a few palm trees. Nothing against TX Aimee, I am sure there are really nice nieghborhoods in San Antonio, I just didn't get to see them.

Hey, a cool thing about the playground slideshow, if you click your mouse on it, it makes a magnifying glass. Check it out.

ARMY NATE

Nate left for OBC on Oct. 8. He will be gone for 8 weeks, then come home, we will pack up and move to TX. They give them these really ugly glasses for out in the field, there so ugly there funny. But, it's one thing that is paid for. Yes, they are paying for our student loans, but we sure have had to fork out alot of money for uniforms. I got to go down there last weekend and see him. It was fun but really wore me out with all the plans and time change. We looked at houses and met with a realtor, but decided because of the housing market in the area that we would live on base. Houses are cheap, especially compared to the northwest, but we don't want to stay in TX and in three years we may end up with a house we can't sell. Plus, we are moving there for the Army, we might as well play the army life and live on base.

LAKEVIEW FARMS PUMPKIN PATCH

Before Nate headed off for OBC (Officer Basic training) we headed out for a early trip to the Pumpkin patch. We had so much fun. We got to ride a boat and a train. The kids loved picking out a pumpkin from the patchand playing in the hay maze. What a great family afternoon.

NAME THE BABY!

See if you can name the baby-Natalie, Alison or Adelaide!!

Adelaide Grace!

We had a great weekend! Alot of our family came for Adelaide's blessing at church. Too bad the microphone in the chapel was making a horrible screaching noise and Becky was throwing up all morning.
